My two cowgirls are CH Fiona Le Enchanteresse “Fiona”
and
GRCH Rising Star’s Nyugat A Kiralynoje “Izzy.”
Fiona has been my dogue since the Fall of 2007, bred by Walter and Cheryl Johnson in Roswell, New Mexico from a litter from their dogue Jaqueline Franchissca Wilhelm and CH Rising Star’s Hugo Boss. Fiona is a show dog, having completed her championship in April 2009 in Garden City, KS. This January 2010, she culminated her show career by being selected as Best of Opposite at the 2010 Westminster Kennel Club Show. She now is the “Queen of the Couch” and enjoying a well earned retirement. Everyday I feel so blessed to have her and been a part of her sucess. Her 1st litter was born in August 2010. We can’t thank Amanda enough for this opportunity.
Izzy joined the herd in December of 2008, Another quality progeny from CH Rising Star’s Hugo Boss, the same sire as Fiona. Her dam is CH Tanakajd Szepe Zizi, a lovely dogue with gorgeous movement. Izzy has inherited this movememt and elegance in size from Zizi. At eight month she earned her first major beating Fiona in the process. April 18, 2010- Izzy was awarded Winner Bitch at the 2010 DDBA National Speciality Show in Perry, GA.. This win also gave Izzy her seond major. May 7, 2010, at the Beehive Cluster in S. Jordan, UT Izzy wins her third major and now is an AKC Champion at just 18 months. After winning Best in Breed three days in a row at the Farmington Utah (Intermountain and Bonneville Kennel Club show) she won Best in Breed four more days in a row at the Rapid City Kennel Club show in September 2011. This completed the requirements for her Grand Championship (GRCH) she was the 10th Dogue de Bordeaux to become a GRCH and only the third female of the top ten.
I had hope to show both girls at the Westminster Kennel Club Show in January 2011, but Fiona’s wasn’t yet back in show shape so it was just Izzy. She showed gorgeously and her movement and elegance will always bring a smile to my face. But it was a wonderful trip and a great show none the less.
Izzy became the 1st Dogue de Bordeaux to earn the Coursing Ability title on May 21, 2011.
